RØDECaster Video S is a simplified version of RØDE’s larger audio/video production console, offering the same powerful tools for video switching, recording, and production, but in a more compact and user-friendly package.

It features an intuitive system that supports up to 4 Full HD video sources via 3 x 1080p HDMI inputs and a multifunction USB-C port used for webcams and audio connections.

The audio is managed by a high-quality APHEX studio processor, which includes effects such as EQ, noise gate, filters, and more. The device also features 2 Neutrik XLR combo inputs and 2 integrated RØDE Series IV receivers for supported wireless microphones.

The creative tools include video layers, graphic overlays, media playback, and automatic chroma key, all controlled via a high-resolution 2-inch screen and a backlit button panel.

The device also supports ISO recording to external USB, streaming via Wi-Fi and Ethernet, as well as automatic source switching based on audio, making it highly useful for any professional production.
