1Xpression Carbon Classic is the 6th generation of the hi-fi class Pro-Ject 1, which was first introduced in 1991. The innovative new design allows for the best performance for any cartridge. The selected belt design the rotation offers a low AC noise motor with effective motor coupling, ultra-accurate AC frequency generator driven by DC (like Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability. The plate holder axis is made of stainless steel with low-tolerance chrome running at the bottom of Teflon in a bronze housing. The main round platform is from low resonant MDF, which is effectively disconnected from the noise created by the structure with special absorption feet, which use TPE technology.
